Wanting to plan the perfect zoom wedding, but still wanting to include your dearest loved ones in the day? You’ve come to the right place because Stephanie + Justen’s Amangiri elopement is a stunning blend of breathtaking views, trendy style and intimate moments between guests near and far. It’s what a lot of weddings are looking like these days, so, if you’re trying to navigate wedding planning right now, just know you’re not alone! It can seem daunting, but that’s where S + J’s superstar design team, Mae & Co. Creative comes in to help:

In addition to designing and styling this Amangiri elopement, we loved planning all of the nuanced timing and events throughout the day. We helped the couple set up a Zoom experience that invited loved ones to not only watch but also participate in the elopement. We set up iPhones, tripods, and microphones to make sure guests were virtually present to experience every moment – from listening to the swells of live music as Stephanie walked down the aisle to chiming in to give a toast from the comfort of their own homes, we loved being able to create connections between our couple and their guests, both near and far.

3 Tips to Plan the Perfect Zoom Wedding

Tip #1: Release Your Expectations

Planning a wedding at any time can be a high-stress situation, but planning during a pandemic can add an even deeper level of anxiety. S + J’s planners want to remind couples what is truly important about the wedding day:

This is an unprecedented time, for sure, but remember that regardless of what does or doesn’t go according to plan – you are marrying the love of your life and at the end of the day, that’s all that matters. So be flexible and revel in the uncertainties – they will make your day that much more memorable.

Tip #2: There’s No Time Limit On Your Wedding

If you want a lot of people at your wedding, you deserve that. So postpone. Or head over the courthouse and have a civil ceremony and then throw a huge party the following year. There’s no time limit on your wedding day so make sure you’re considering what’s important to you and then wait if you need to wait. I know it’s hard but if having all your friends and family around makes your heart sing… you deserve to have that.

Tip #3: Remember This Is YOUR Day

Remember this is YOUR DAY. Even if there’s only 20 people, feel free to go all out. It’s still just as special and it’s still just as meaningful. You don’t have to skimp on details or music or flowers just cause your guest count is small – if anything, this should be the perfect time to go big on the details since you’re going smaller on the guest count.
