For some, there’s a thrill in not knowing what will unfold when, say, you plan to a waterfall elopement in Maui and the weather is unpredictable. Kirsten + Jeremy invited friends and family along for the ride, warning them that they were in for an early hike and the possibility of rain. But it was all worth it to plan a day that truly reflected the couple:
We did everything the way WE wanted it. We constantly asked ourselves what would an ideal wedding day look like and we made all of our decisions based on that. It’s your day. There’s no need to settle for someone else’s vision. When you’re getting married outside in nature you never know what could happen! To us, that was most of the fun!
After a 4 am wakeup call, the hike to Twin Falls began. And despite the pouring rain, a flash flood, and a quick rescue on a 4-wheeler, everyone made hiked all the way to that little bit of paradise!
