Bright + Moody Elopement Inspiration with Striking Black Accents

Planning

Is it possible to be moody and bright at the same time? We think so, and this bright + moody elopement inspiration is all the proof! You’ve got a bright, warehouse-like space, filled with moody details like neutral + black florals, tall pillar candles, a PIANO, and loads of texture. Melanie, who photographed the day, told us a little bit about what it was like to reunite with friends (they’re in Switzerland…and we are jealous) to create something after a time of quarantine:

This day was marked with many emotions. To finally meet friends outside after lockdown and catch up on the long-planned (and postponed) shoot, tears of joy had to flow! Our idea was to give the modern industrial look a little bit of the breath and flair of fine art. Bright rooms, large windows, rough plaster, and a lot of concrete brought the charm of something old and industrial which we met with a counterpart of pampas grass, black feathers, the most beautiful roses, a flowing table setting, and matching stationery.

With design by Myawina, the team worked with a color concept of black and antique pink, with gold details. Sound dreamy? You bet — and we’ve got photos Melanie and Rafael Munoz by to prove it!

Sophisticated Bridal Style

Loving this sleek gown by Agata Wojtkiewicz and from Wild Spirit Lovers Bridal. The neckline and that modern slit — just so sophisticated and gorgeous!

pampas grass bouquet

What a stunning bouquet by Myawina! A lot of textures (feathers!) pieced together here for a rather unique effect, don’t you think?

The bright table was punctuated with black candles, table runners in delicate nudes + pinks, simple black chairs, and moody florals.
